The Grand Bee is a fan fictional newspaper about boxing fiction. I was inspired by boxing star Laila Ali. The newspaper is fictional but the things I have to say about Laila are my true feelings and thoughts. The paper was created July 19, 2009 at Google Sites. The art has a touch of surrealism from her father’s rhyme “Float like a butterfly. Sting like a bee”. He is the famous Muhammad Ali. I named the fictional paper Grand Bee News because, to me, Laila Ali is grand. She is making grand history and news in women’s boxing. I have never seen any woman fight like Laila Ali yet. No one has a style like hers, and she is awesome.
Inspired by my favorite boxing star, Laila Ali, she is how I created the different characters (The Night Stinger, Swarm, Blood Fist, and Insector Speed) that I created. It was Laila that inspired me to make a toon site, fiction newspaper, and all of the articles that I have written about her. I really appreciate Laila Ali and all of her hard work. She hasn't been boxing lately spending time with her family. I certainly did enjoy her when she was boxing.
